Choosing the Right Family Photo for this Year’s Christmas Cards
Choosing the right family photo for your Christmas Cards Charity Greeting Cards can be fun. But it can also be stressful. This is especially true when there are small children involved. Whether you have a lack of good photos or too many good photos to choose from, we have some ideas that might make choosing the right picture for your Christmas cards a little easier!
Go With the Flow
It might be tempting to take the same picture over and over and over again in an attempt to get the “perfect” picture. But that takes the fun out of it. Take a few different pictures, trying different poses, until you get a few you love. Just let the energy flow free and happy. You have much better odds of getting a great picture when everyone is having fun and happy! when you have a few great pictures to choose from, making a Christmas card or two is simple!
Let the Family vote on It
Don’t just go with the first good picture that you find. Find a few that you like and let the whole family vote on which one (or ones!) to use. This can be a great way to get everyone into it and make sure that everyone is sending off a picture that they are proud. It may seem like a small thing, but it takes a lot of negative feelings out of the situation.
You Don’t Always Have to Choose
If there are just too many (or not enough) great photos, you can always go with collage-style Christmas cards. You can choose the best picture of each person in your family and cut it into slices. Put them together to make a rectangle and viola! You can easily cut these into other shapes (such as photo “ornaments” on the card).
Consider Taking Separate Photos
If you’re having trouble getting the kids to settle down, you can always take separate photos. Have them sit down for the formal photo, then let them do their own thing. This can make for a wonderful set of photos to share, and it keeps the kiddos out of trouble.
Christmas cards are meant to spread the cheer! So do all you can to make taking and choosing the picture for this year’s Christmas card fun and happy. This is just another way that you can bring your family closer together!
